I have a long string of e-mail exchanges with Corel support, who appear to be totally unaware of this problem, in spite of the obvious complaints registered regarding the "Tab Control Failed to Initialize" error. My solution: buy a new printer, hence the beginning of this saga. I was told by secondary support tech that my driver service had expired and would have to be renewed ($200 for one year). The only problem I had was that the print output was darker than the screen display on my HP DV8000 laptop. Until 8 days ago I had been printing (using the 64-bit version of PaintShopPro 2018 Ultimate) using my 1-year old Epson XP-820 printer. I first experienced it when I installed my (new) HP OfficeJet Pro 6978 All-in-One printer. I have been fighting to resolve this problem for 8 days now.
